ผู้หญิงคนนี้เป็นเพื่อนผมครับ ชื่อออม อายุ 26 ปี เป็นผู้หญิงตัวเล็ก น่ารัก ยิ้มเก่ง เป็นที่รักของทุกคนที่รู้จัก ไม่เที่ยวกลางคืน เข้านอนแต่หัวค่ำ แต่....
ออมมีโรคประจำตัวคือโรคมะเร็งครับ ออมไม่่ทานเหล้า และไม่เคยสูบบุหรี่
เมื่ออายุ 16 ออมได้เข้ารักษาอาการมะเร็งครั้งแรก โดยเขาเล่าให้ฟังว่า กำลังดูทีวีอยู่ จู่ๆก็เกิดเลือดไหลออกมาทางจมูก และไม่ยอมหยุด นานกว่า 2 ชม.
จึงนำตัวส่งโรงพยาบาล และพบว่า ออมโดนมะเร็งกินใต้โพรงจมูกไปหมดแล้ว

ออมได้เข้ารักษาตัวด้วยการฉายแสง ซึ่งจะฆ่าทั้งเซลล์ดีและเซลล์มะเร็ง
ออมบอกว่าทรมานมาก ทางบ้านออมกำชับออมว่าถ้าไม่ไหวก็อย่าฝืน เพราะคุณปุ่ของออมก็เสียเพราะด้วยการฉายแสง
หลังจากนั้นออมก็หายไปจากห้องเรียนไปสะเฉยๆ โดยไม่ได้เล่าให้เพื่อนๆฟัง ผมมาทราบเอาภายหลัง ตอนอายุ 20 หลังจากการรักษาไป 4 ปี

เมื่อเดือนพฤษภาคมที่ผ่านมา ออมอายุได้ 26 ปี จบการศึกษาจาก นานาชาติมหิดล เข้าทำงานกับคุณพ่อของเธอ ออมเป้นคนอารมณ์ดี และขยัน เป็นที่รักของเพื่อนๆ
อยู่มาวันนึง เรื่องที่ไม่น่าจะเกิด ก็กลับมาเกิดขึ้นอีก ออมมีการเวียนหัวและคลื่นไส้ และในที่สุดออมก็อาเจียนออกมาเป็นเลือดครับ (จำนวนมาก) จึงเข้ารับการตรวจอีกครั้งในทันที
รพ.แรกพบว่า ปอดข้างซ้ายของออมนั้นมีมะเร็งลุกลามเข้าไปประมาณ 80% จะต้องทำการผ่าตัดด่วน และเธอคงจำเป็นต้องตัดปอดข้างนั้นไป..... เธอไม่ได้เล่าให้เพื่อนๆฟังอีกเช่นเคย

โดยกลัวว่าเพื่อนจะเป็นห่วง ผมและเพื่อนมาทราบภายหลังโดยการ หลุดปากของเพื่อนที่ทราบข่าวมาคนนึง ด้วยอาการมึนเมา พูดว่า "หากเพื่อนมึงกำลังจะ...... มึงจะว่าไงวะ" มันโดนตบกะโหลกไป 1 ที และโดนเค้นความลับออกมาตามเรื่องที่เล่าข้างต้น

เราจึงทำการรวมกลุ่มกันอย่างเงียบๆ และตั้งใจจะให้กำลังใจออม ก่อนทำการผ่าตัดปอดข้างซ้ายออก เพื่อกันไม่ให้มันลุกลามไปมากกว่านี้ เราจึงทำการแอบรวมกลุ่มกัน เซอร์ไพรส์เธอกัน ในงานวันเกิดของออม ในเดือนถัดมา 26 มิถุนายน
เธอเล่าให้ฟังว่า หมดค่ายาเฉพาะวันนี้ไปเป็นล้าน ออมหัวเราะชอบใจ ซึ่งจริงๆมันก็คงเรื่องตลกหากเรื่องนี้มันไม่ได้เกิดขึ้นกับเธอ พวกผมพากันหัวเราะตามแต่เฝื่อนๆ ออมดูปกติดีครับ เหมือนเด็กสาววัยรุ่นทั่วไป อารมณ์ดี และร่าเริงยิ้มง่ายเหมือนที่เธอเคยเป็น แต่......ผมเริ่มสังเกตุเห็น ว่าออมเริ่มมีการเหนื่อยหอบ และพูดลำบากขึ้น เมื่อตอนใกล้จะเลิกงานวันเกิด ผมจึงแอบนัดเพื่อนๆและบอกให้แยกย้ายกันกลับเพื่อออมจะได้พักผ่อน

หลังจากวันนั้นประมาณอาทิตย์ผ่านไป ออมโทรหาผมเพื่อเล่าเรื่องอาการของเธอให้ฟัง ผมกลับได้คำตอบอย่างน่าประหลาดใจว่า

"ไม่ต้องผ่าตัดแล้วละ" ผมแอบดีใจในใจ เพื่อนกูไม่ต้องตัดปอดทิ้งแล้ววว..
"หมออีกที่นึงเก่งๆ ตรวจพบว่าเป็นมะเร็งทั้งสองข้างเลย ผ่าไปก็ไม่มีประโยชน์"

ปอดข้างซ้ายของออมโดนมะเร็งกินหมดแล้ว แค่หลังจากที่ตรวจพบก่อนหน้านั้น 1 เดือน ส่วนอีกข้างก็ลามไปเกินครึ่งแล้ว ผมไม่ได้พูดอะไรออกมา ได้แต่ถอนหายใจ ในใจไม่รู้ว่าจะพูดยังไง เพราะการให้กำลังใจ ผมรู้สึกว่า มันไม่ได้ช่วยให้ออมหายทรมานขึ้นมาได้เลย
ออมเอ่ยขึ้นมาว่า "ถึงทนไม่ได้มันก็ต้องทนวะ ตัวกูนิ จะปล่อยให้เป็นอะไรไปได้ยังไง"
ผมกลับรู้สึก ผู้หญิงตัวเล็กคนนี้สภาพจิตใจแข็งแรงมาก ผมอยากจะเทียบว่าเธอเป็นดั่งแรมโบ้ ถึงแม้ภายนอกเธอจะเหมือนเด็กอายุ 12 ขวบก็ตาม

ออมเข้ารักษาตัวที่รพ. แถวๆอนุสาวรีย์ ผมโทรไปหาพี่สาวเธอเพื่อถามอาการออม เวลาหลังเลิกงาน พี่สาวเธอบอกผมด้วยน้ำเสียงสั่นๆว่า ออมผ่าตัดสมองอยู่ เข้าไปนาน 2 ชั่วโมงแล้ว
แพทย์ตรวจพบ เนื้องอกในสมองของออมอีก ต้องผ่าตัดเปิดกะโหลกเพื่อนำเนื้องอกออก ผมสบถในใจ {{เพื่อนผมมันซวยอะไรหนักหนาวะ!!! }}
แต่ไม่นานสักสามทุ่มของวันนั้น พี่สาวออมก็โทรมาบอกว่าออมออกมาแล้ว ปลอดภัยดี และจะนำเนื้องอกไปตรวจ อาทิตย์หน้าคงรู้ผล

ทุกวันนี้ออมยังรักษาโรคร้ายนี้อยู่ ด้วยการฉายแสงและการทำคีโม ซึ่งหนักและทรมานมาก แต่ออมไม่เคยเล่าถึงอาการทรมานหรือแสบร้อนของเธอ ให้เพื่อนๆต้องเป็นห่วง
เธอกลับอารมณ์ดี และยิ้มดีใจทุกๆครั้ง ที่เพื่อนๆมาเยี่ยม และนำของกินมาฝาก ถึงแม้เธอจะรับประทานอาหารไม่ได้เลยก็ตาม

ผมและเพื่อนๆ อยากจะช่วยอวยพรให้ออมหายเป็นปกติ ทั้งภายนอกและข้างใน ไม่ให้เธอต้องทรมาน ด้วยโรคที่ไม่ควรเกิดขึ้นกับเธอ ผมและเพื่อนๆ ช่วยกันร้องเพลงให้กำลังใจออม เอาไว้ฟังตอนเธอพักรักษาตัวที่โรงพยาบาล

ผมอยากให้ทุกๆคนช่วยให้กำลังใจ ฝากข้อความ ให้เธอต่อสู้โรคร้ายและผ่านพ้นทุกอย่างไปได้ด้วยดี
ให้เธอและครอบครัวอย่าได้มาเจอเรื่องอะไรร้ายๆแบบนี้อีก
ผมจะตามเขียนเรื่องของออมต่ออีกเรื่อยๆ จนกว่าเธอจะแข็งแรงดี

วันนี้ออมโทรหาผมครับ โทรมาขอบคุณผมที่เขียนเรื่องของเธอขึ้นมา ตอนนี้เธอยังไม่ได้อ่าน ข้อความของพวกเราครับ เพราะออมพักตัวอยู่ที่บ้านครับ พรุ่งนี้เข้าออฟฟิศคุณพ่อเธอ ออมถึงจะได้อ่านครับ แต่ได้ทราบเรื่องจากพี่สาวเธอแล้ว เขาขอบคุณที่เล่าให้คนอื่นฟังเกี่ยวกับ โรคร้ายที่เกิดขึ้นกับเธอ

และฝากขอบคุณทุกๆท่านที่ให้กำลังใจออม

คุยได้สักพักเสียงก็หายไป ผมนึกว่าสายตัด เลยเอาโทรศัพท์ออกจากหูมาดูหน้าจอ
ก็ยังนับเวลาอยู่ดี ยังไม่ตัดนิ เอากลับมาแนบหูใหม่

ออมร้องไห้ครับ........แล้วพยายามจะพูดคำว่าขอบคุณ แต่เธอก็ยังสะอื้นอยู่ ทำให้พูดไม่ได้
ผมเออๆออๆแล้วบอกไม่เป็นไร ลนๆวางสายไป เพราะผมก็ตกใจทำอะไรไม่ถูก


.....ใจจริงผมอยากอัดเสียงขอบคุณของออม มาให้ทุกๆคนได้ฟัง แต่ผมก็ไม่รู้ล่วงหน้าว่า เขาจะมาร้องไห้ขณะคุยโทรศ้พท์กับผม
ถ้าเธอฝากอะไรมาผมจะเอามาบอกทุกคนครับ

ออม จ๋า อยากจะบอกว่า ขอให้เพื่อนหายไวๆนะ สิบปีที่เราออกจากเซนจอห์นไป เราเองก็ไม่ได้ติดต่อกับเพื่อนๆ รวมถึงออมด้วย อยากจะบอกว่า ขอโทษนะ แต่ในใจเราไม่เคยลืมออมและเพื่อนๆเลยตั้งแต่ไปส่งเราที่ สนามบินเมื่อสิบปีที่แล้ว เราก็ยังเป็นจ๋าคนเดิมนะ อยากจะบอกว่า เจ๋งว่ะ เราคงจะไม่พูดบอกให้ออม เข้มแข็ง หรือ สู้ๆนะเพราะคนอื่นๆคงจะบอกออมไปเยอะแล้วล่ะ ถ้าวันไหนออมเบื่อ หรือ ไม่รู้จะโทรหาใคร โทรหาจ๋าน่ะ 081 903 7676 คิดถึงแกว่ะ

ครั้งนี้เป็นครั้งแรก (ขอเรียกตัวเองว่าพี่นะคะ เพราะดูจากอายุของน้องออม

คาดว่า น้องก็คงจะอายุไม่ต่างไปจากนี้เท่าไหร่) ที่พี่เขียนเมล์ถึงคนที่พี่ไม่เคยพบ ไม่เคยรู้จักมาก่อน

พอดีพี่ได้รับฟอร์เวิรด์เมล์ ได้อ่านเรื่องราวและได้ฟังเพลงที่น้องๆแต่งและร้องให้น้องออมฟัง

มันตื้นตันบอกไม่ถูกค่ะ รับรู้ได้ถึงความรัก ความห่วงใยของเพื่อนและกำลังใจที่มีให้กัน

พี่ฃาบฃึ้งไปกับน้องออมด้วยจริงๆ

พี่ขออำนาจคุณพระศรีรัตนตรัย คุณพระพุทธ พระธรรม พระสงฆ์ จงทรงช่วยดลบันดาลให้

น้องออมที่เป็นที่รักของเพื่อนๆทุกๆคน หายจากโรคภัยไข้เจ็บที่เป็นอยู่และ มีสุขภาพแข็งแรงเป็นปกติ

พี่เชื่อในพลังจิตของคนเรานะว่า มันมีอานุภาพ และสิ่งที่น้องทำอยู่นี้ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการที่น้องเขียนเมล์เล่าเรื่องผ่านตัวหนังสือ หรือแต่งเพลง สื่อผ่านวีดีโอ พลังใจตรงนี้ มันรวมของคนทุกคนที่อ่าน หรือ ฟังหรือดูทั้งหมด ส่งไปถึงน้องออมและครอบครัว ให้มีกำลังใจต่อสู้กับโรคร้าย น้องออมจะหายวันหายคืนแน่นอนค่ะ

• Sa, finally got a master degree from international Mahidol University.

• This was taken on 5 July 2007 at Po Temple (วัดโพธิ์)

• There were Noon + Pu + A (I was taken the picture, so who can see me??)

• I don't want to say that it was 6pm when we've got there, we're almost missed it...hehe (^^;)

• That was the only day that I've ever seen Sa wearing make up and walk on high heel..!

• Noon was like our big sister for the IMP's gals. Everything that the 16 years old gal doesn't know, she does....(positive way, Sister ACT for example)

• Noon is a outgoing person, more like a party gal.

• Noon has a tan skin but for somehow she is very attractive for the white guy (อาตี๋ type). This might cause by something called Yin-Yang.

• Pat is now working as an air-hostage with JAL (Japan airline). She's mostly in the air rather than being on the ground. She's available only 3-4 days every 2 weeks. Ever need anything from Japan, just let her know.
